Rainisto had a dedicated presentation at Photo London (May 17–21, 2024), one of the world’s premier photography fairs, presenting pieces from the “Vacation” collection, presented under Verse’s gallery program.
Audiences at Photo London – accustomed to traditional and fine-art photography– encountered Rainisto’s uncanny vacation scenes as “post-photography” art.
The fair presence was complemented by the simultaneous Christie’s auction of a piece from "Vacation", creating a multi-venue impact.
REWORLD presented at Paris Photo 2023.
Paris Photo 2023 (Grand Palais Éphémère, Paris)
Rainisto’s work for "REWORLD" was exhibited at Paris Photo (Nov 9–12, 2023), the leading international art fair for photography. He was featured in the booth of Louise Alexander Gallery in collaboration with Fellowship.
Two large-format works by Rainisto – titled Symbolism Failure (2023) and Auto Dream No. 3 (2023) – were presented, each 150 x 200 cm in size, courtesy of Fellowship and Louise Alexander Gallery.
During the event, Rainisto’s ‘Auto Dream No. 3’ was selected to be included on the prestigious J.P. Morgan Curators' Highlight list, and a print of 'Auto Dream No. 3' was acquired by the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection.

Every Day We Have to Invent the Reality of This World: AI Post-Photography
(2023–24, UCR Arts)
Life in West America” series was included in this museum exhibition at the California Museum of Photography (UCR Arts) in Riverside, CA. The exhibition ran from October 7, 2023 to March 3, 2024 and examined the emerging genre of AI-based post-photography. Several images from LIWA were on display, presented in a gallery context at the university art museum.

"Pixel Perceptions: Into the Eye of AI" at Noorderlicht
(October 26, 2024 –January 19, 2025)
Rainisto's acclaimed series, Life in West America, was showcased in this group exhibition in Groningen, Netherlands. The exhibition explored the intersection of traditional photography and AI-generated imagery, with Rainisto's work offering a journey through stories and characters that inhabit the ideal of the American landscape, blending nostalgia and futurism to challenge perceptions of reality.
